EchoWell Privacy Policy

EchoWell (“the App”) is developed by Vrytis Labs. This policy explains how the App handles data.

Data Collection

EchoWell does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with Vrytis Labs or any third party. The App has no backend server and does not require an internet connection to function.

Data Storage

All data created while using the App — including custom sound mixes, session history, streak progress, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Android’s Room database and DataStore preference storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Vrytis Labs.

Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions, used solely for core functionality:

• Notifications: to alert you about scheduled focus/sleep sessions you configure
• Foreground Service (Media Playback): to allow uninterrupted audio playback while the app runs in the background

Third-Party Services

EchoWell does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data, including mixes, session history, and preferences.

Children's Privacy

EchoWell does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, as no data is collected at all.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
